Quick question

My head unit isn't very good, it skips when playing cds and I was looking to upgrade it... I have never done anything with my head unit, my buddy installed it and i installed amp/subs/speakers. How difficult would it be to install a new head unit? Would I just take out the wiring harness from my old deck and stick it in the new one? Or do I have to solder all of the wires again?

Thanks for any input guys.

it depends on whether the hu's connector plug fits the new one. if not then you will need re-do the wiring. it is not difficult to do if you installed the other items. if you don't want to soldier get some bullet connectors, as long as you have good solid crimps you will not have any problems.
