quick question

I'm going to add my amp for my door speakers in a few minutes and just remembered I don't have a distro block. I am putting 8awg into my door speaker amp. My question is can I shove the 8awg into my sundown saz1500d power hole with my 0g run and screw it in, and take that 8g and put it into my door speaker amp, cadence txa 300-4

would this work if I needed one 1/0g out and 1 4g out if i was putting a 1/0g into it on one of the holes and use the the 1/0g hole to go into my amp?

You need to run 1/0 to the block- 4 to the sundown and 8 to the other. Or just run 8 from the battery, if you have a trunk battery you can run off it

Or run a reducer for your sundown 1/0 off the 4 awg block

Just T tap into the 1/0 with the 8 gauge. Solder it and tape it up good.

that is a fire hazard. OP: don't do that.

you always fuse for the smaller wire. all wires should be protected by a fuse for their rated ampacity. when reducing power wire size, you insert a fuse.
