quick question

I have

-mb quart rwe-302 500W rms

-kenwood excelon kac-x20 520W rms amp

Should i have my amp set to the stereo setting or the mono setting? My sub seems like it bottoms out way too easily, and someone said it could be because the amp should be on mono and have only 1 rca cable going into it. Right now, its set onto stereo with 2 rca's.

I'm assuming you have the sub wired for 4ohm and amp bridge to single channel?

a subsonic filter is made to prevent bottoming out

Ya i know what a subsonic filter is. Its set to 25hz. I think i just need to upgrade my system if i want it louder. Just wondering if there's anything wrong with my sub.
