Well I have a cool idea to install speakers onto one of my friends gokarts. He has speakers that are 7 watts each and i calculated that a standard 12v battery should be able to power them. I was wondering how to wire an ipod jack into the mix so it will play on the speakers.

The ipod will be the source, he will still need an amplifier.

Not sure if the ipod will produce a enough voltage for the amplifier, but, all you need is a 3.5mm phono jack to 2 RCA's adapter. They're easy to find at any radio shack, wal mart, even 7-11 should have them.
