Hey all. Due to money constraints, and good gas mileage, i currently drive a 96 Pontiac Sunfire (ya i know, i know). So i figured, why drive this little thing around without some upgrades? So the first thing i want to do is put some new headlights in it. I am pretty sure i have everything that i will need, already picked out.

Projector Headlights:

Clear Headlight covers:

I am new to aftermarket headlights and i need to know if this stuff will work. Also, are those headlights hard to install? Thanks a lot!

just get HID's
Could you point me in the right direction?

And ya guys i know, it's just a sunfire. Actually i am thinking about getting a truck here pretty soon, as we just got a HUGE winter storm up here in the NoDak. But still...

retro fitting projectors isn't very difficult.

what the OP is looking at is a good start for retro fitting. FX projectors are still pretty **** good for the money. great clarity. the CCFL "halos" re pretty cool but be carefull. if your in a city where cops stop you for the stupidest shit then they will be a bad investment and a loss of time with having them put into your head light housing. i use mine ALL the time. i have never been stopped for the lights out in the city. though i have been warned twice coming onto a military base with them on so i just turn them off before i get on base.

i don't know what kind of headlight lens you have on the stock headlight but if it is one with lines then the head light is not going to be happy with output. so a clear leans is a must.

all you need to do then is get an appropiate HID kit that fits the FX projectors and you are set. i went with 5k for mine.

the cut off line on mine is color modded and is very nice.

look at the doors on the left. you'll see a clean blue line. there is a lot of brightness at the back of the car since it's too close and it messes with the camera.

you can see that my car is kinda pointed to the left :p

oh and i have TSX projectors. i retro fitted my set.
