quick question

Can i connect my kicker zx1000 amp upto a 5ga power wire? I already had the wires run from a previous amp and don't feel like running new ones at the moment. This will just be temporarily by the way.

4ga. is the minimum I would use... even that's borderline unless it's a very short run.
