i am doing the big 3 right now. can i ground my alternator's mounting bracket to battery or only block to battery?

sure you can ground you alt to the battery.

That is the way mine is.

You should ground the block to the frame of the vehicle, a seperate location from the batterys ground.

Yes, you can ground the alt bracket to the battery if you wish. Go ground crazy!

I did.

Grounded alt to battery.

Grounded alt to frame.

Taking one off did it make a difference. No.

Had the extra wire and was bored.

ok thanks. i will have a full run of 1/0 gauge ground so i dont need to touch the chasis.
