Quick Question...

I bought something off of eBay for my car. The package was paid for and everything on 1-28-07. I chose USPS First Class Mail as shipping because he only had USPS. I sent them a message asking where my package was on 2-5-07. Then 2-6-07, I asked for a refund if it's not here within the next 2 days. Since I haven't received my package or gotten any respond on eBay I left them negative feedback.

THEN they decided to respond and wrote this "Please learn to be patient when you purchase something on ebay. Do not leave feedback if you still want the other party to resolve your problem." Then this "The shipping method you chose, USPS first class mail, take about 10 days to somewhere in the US. Sometimes even take longer than expect due to postal service delay. If you cant wait, we recommend USPS overnight that cost $20 shipping. Left a negative comment for us is not useful for you. I think what you want is what you paid for? ebay should educate new users learn to contact ther other side if they have questions." I've been using eBay for a while and I explained that to him it's that I just created a new account for myself.

I then got a response as this "

We filed a claim in post office about the lost of your first package and sent you a replacement out yesterday because you said it was taking too long to arrive. Our fault?" So first it was that the package takes 10 days to get here when it's 2-5 business days on USPS First Class, then their claiming it's a lost package. What do you guys think?

Unless they were located in cali it shoudnt take that long.

Did you leave them negative feedback ?

Did you file a claim ?

If you left them negative feedback before filing a claim you did the wrong thing and basically screwed yourself with negative feedback.

Item location: Los Angeles, CA, United States...but yeah I left negative feedback first actually. I haven't filed a claim. But they just decided to send out the package yesterday after all this time. I asked them for a refund...

Even fedex ground/ups ground it takes a week to ship something across the country.

Filing the claim wouldve been the better choice since you can always close it and its not visible. Even if you come to a mutual agreement with the negative feedback it still shows up.

But I'm right for complaining about it am I right? Also it seems like he's trying to change the story if you read the first post. Also he JUST put it in the mail the day I left negative feedback.

Of course, you were never given shipping conformation, how the heck are you supposed to know if its gone or not ?

It does seem like they are gtrying to play games, id definetly take the refund if its something you can buy again no problem.

Well I don't even want to buy it again from somewhere else. It was a bypass for my Alpine TV but I decided that The Alpine TV sucks compared to my Pioneer EQ-wise. so I'm gonna try my best to receive a refund from them. Thanks for your input

Thats why I only buy from real people on eBay. Not the people who retail for like 5 or 6 different companies and don't know shit about the products or what happens to it after you order it.

No problem man.

If you ever have this situation again do it that way, it takes longer, but resloved 2 cases in which i never got what i paid for in time and still was left positive feedback.

well it was a company I'm pretty sure they had like 2000 positive feedback so I trusted that seeing like 1 or 2 negative. it wasn't like someone trying to sell it who has one positive feedback or anything
