quick question

I've got a quick question. According to everything that I've read says that its better to over power you speakers a little bit than to under power them. But, I haven't been able to find exactly how much you can overpower them. I'm planning on ordering a set of alpine spr 57ls component speakers. There RMS rating is 65 watts. To power them I was planning on buying the Profile AP 400 amp. Its rated at 65 watts @ 4 ohms x2. Will this amp be enough to power these comps, or should I buy the AP 600 that has a power rating of 100 RMS a 4 ohmsx2?

i think they were probably referring to subwoofers, but im sure that amp will be plenty enough to do the job well
