What's better:

2 15" Kicker L7's in a sealed enclosure

or

2 12" L7's in a sealed or ported

or

1 15" kicker in a ported enclosure

If your goal is accuracy, sealed. If your goal is SPL@ a small range of frequencies, ported, regardless of the size you choose.

I'd personally do one of the two sealed options.

I want SQL I guess. My current setup is a 4th order bandpass I believe.. 2 12" Visonik's in sealed boxes, facing eachother with a window and a 6" port between them. I get nice lower frequency extension, and a good peak near 45 Hz.

I'm not worried about SPL, im not out to win any trophies. I just want accurate, beautiful sounding bass that can be as loud as I can take it, and that will make it feel hard to breathe if I want it to.

Am I dreaming?
