Think of a little bomb, that spews hot, sticky, gooey, black paste everywhere. I wouldn't even want to think about what a 1 farad one would do.

Jack - is it the same kind of black gooey crap that comes out of an old flourescent fixture ballast when they go bad?

If so I wouldn't want to be involved in the cleanup that would follow that nasty stuff being explosively spread about.
