Quick question Alpine and Rockford fosgate

Ok I have a question because the audio stores there only out here to get your money and have no desire to help anyone really so Im hoping somewhere on here can help me.

I'm in a toss up between the Rockford Fosgate P2 10" and the Alpine Type E 10". Im getting 2 of them and just cant decide, there both 250 watts RMS so Ill be running 500 RMS total. I want something that holds the bass very well and something that sounds good and not distorted. I already have 1 10" Alpine but I might sell it.

Dont know what amp I'm going to run yet, if anyone has had these subs or know anyone that has and can help me out I truely appreciate it dont want to spend over 200 for the subs. I have a guy that gets me cheaper then retail so hopefully both subs will be about 130

Why don't you just do it semi-right and buy 1 type r or equiv? Going to put out 600rms (more) and sound better than 2 type e's.

What's your budget? I bet we can suggest much better options. Are you willing to self-install?

I have a friend that installs so I'll probably be doing self install.

My budget is 200 but I also have a guy that can get audio for pretty cheap so I dont pay retail like the type E's only cost me 50 bucks

I already have 1 E in the closet that I bought a while ago. Most ppl are telling me work with what I have already and keep the E's
