Quick question about wiring.

Got a sub box with two 12's in it. Each is sealed off and has its own terminals. I want to run it at 2 ohms. So do i just run the negatives from both terminals together and tie a speaker wire into it and run that to the negative of the amp, same with the positive?
All depends on what subs they are. If they are svc4ohm you can and if they are dvc2ohm you can get to a 2 ohm load. Need to know what you have.

svc 4 ohms. I figured it was fine. i was just more curious as to if that positives and negatives actually had to go to the subs to do it or if it was just they had to be in the wiring order before it hits the amp.

It doesn't matter which wire goes where first as long as all the sub (+) terminals are all connected to the amp (+) terminal and all the sub (-) terminals are connected together to the amp (-) terminal. Electrically it is all the same.
