Quick Question about ohms.

Right now I have 4 dual 1 ohm btls. I got 1 ohm cause i am running not so good amp at 1 ohm or i would think. My question is, I am upgrading my amps and want to run at a 1 ohm load. Can I wire 2 subs to get a 1 ohm load? I have looked but can't find exactly what im looking for. Thanks

yes do the voice coils on individual subs in paralell and then series the two subs to get a 1 ohm load.

the answer to your question is "yes".

2 subs can wire to 1 ohm, but 4 you have wired now cannot be wired to 1 ohm
