Quick question about mounting type R

Im about to mount my new type r and had a question. where the sub mounts to the box is kinda like a rubber material. Can anyone with type r experience tell me if the rubber on the back of the sub is enough for mounting.

Or should also lay down some weather stripping?

The rubber on the sub has been sufficient in my experience with them.
