ok so i got everything wired up and ready too go....

Alpine cda-9855

alpine mrv-f540

6.5 polk momo comps

Got a question, i know that the comp set as a whole can handle 125 watts rms but does that mean that if i run active that i can run the tweet at 125 rms and the mid at 125 as well?

basically can the tweet handle as much wattage and the mid?

got everythign wired up ready to go but have a quick question. going to go active with my crossover on the 9855 and just curious about last detail.

1. do i turn crossovers on my amp off and just run it flat?

2. any tips or hints on best crossover point would be great. It has High Tweeter, Mid High, Mid Low

thanks.
1. Yep, run them full range since the HU will be taking care of everything.

2. Polk states that the passives crossovers have 2nd order filters and the crossover point is 2,600Hz. Set them like so for starters: Tweeter High (high pass): 2.6kHz, Mid High (high pass): 80Hz, Mid Low (low pass): 2.6-3.5kHz as you think sounds best.
