i have 2 dual 4 ohm subs. im going to wire them parrallel so my question in should i do it on one side of the sub? i never understood why they have connections on each side? is it just for convinence? i always thought one side was a voice coil, and the other side was a voice coil? im lost, any help would be grateful.

well i should have said im usuing a 2ch amp for right now. its only 2 ohm stable for each channel so i was going to wire it parrallel on one side of the sub. then i got to thinking about the other side and decided i should ask. if anyone can show me the best way to wire each sub down to 2ohms for each channel id be grateful

Do this for each channel:

Wouldnt it be the same power either way? Just one way would be stereo and one would be mono. There is no subsonic filter on the amp, so i dont know if i would want to run mono?

Yes. Same power either way. You don't have subsonic filter either way then.
