Quick question about Daisy-chaining

If I had 2 subs that are dual 2 Ohms each and 2 Hifonics Bxi2608 and daisy chained them would that give me 5200 w at 2ohms? or 3400 w at 2 ohms? im very confused someone help me please.

Daisy chaining amplifiers means running an RCA pass-thru from one amp to another. It makes installations easier without the need for y-splitters when running multiple amps. This will not give you 5200watts @ 2ohms. Each amp will still be independent of one another.

Ok so in my case having the subs wired at 2 ohms, each sub will be seeing the rated power at that given ohm load which is 1700 w? if the subs are in the enclosure which only has 1 terminal how would I wire the POS and NEG to the chained amps? it doesnt have anything in the manual

your talking about straping amps look in the hifonics manual it tells you how to do it.atleat in my hifonics 2008d manual it shows how to strap the 2608D

Yes wire each sub in series, then take the 2 positives from both subs and wire them to one amp and the other 2 negitives from the 2 subs to the other amp.(parrellel)
