Quick question about an amp install

Im helping a friend setup a SMALL system. He is getting a single 10'' Type R powered off an Orion 300D. Would 8 gauge be enough for the power wire or should I do 4? Also where can I check what the amp has (4 or 8)? Also what size fuse should I use with it?

Last question, where can I buy a LOC so I can install this on an OEM radio (is a 97 civic if that matters).

u can find the loc online or ur local car stereo spot should havem. just get one splice into the rear speaker left and right wires on the h/u rca from loc to amp. as for the power wire. what are the specs of the amp? and how long will the wire need to be from the battery to trunk or where ever u putting ur amp?

Its a 300x1 (underrated) @ 1ohm, and the power wire is going to be 12-15 feet MAX

Do you have a link to a LOC online? I found a lot, but im not sure what to get, it seems like there are a bunch of options...I always get an aftermarket HU with my cars, so I have never had to deal with LOCs before...
