so i was checking the wiring charts here not to annoy anyone and get the info myself on svc wiring anyhow does this work the same with 4 svc 8 ohm speakers as it does with 4 svc 4 ohms? here is the pic

Four 8 ohm speakers can be wired to 2 ohms, 8 ohms, or 32 ohms ...
For 2 ohms, connect all the +s together and all the -s together ...

so how do i wire the four speakers to a 8 ohm load

Essentially what's happening is you have two sets of two speakers. Wire each pair of speakers in series (for two 16ohm loads), then wire those two pair of speakers in parallel with each other for a final 8ohm load.

So...just do it like the picture you have in your first post in this thread. That is, assuming, you have four SVC 8ohm speakers.

thats what i thought i just had to make sure since i dont wanna wreck the speakers by giving them a 2 ohm load or something.

Your not going to hurt the speakers.. you want to wire your speakers to match your amp, typically 2 or 4 ohm. If you wire it to 8 your not going to get anywhere near the output on your amp that you should be.
