quick little question

my plan was to run two saz3000ds on my two axis 15's. but then i thought maybe i should get rid of the sundown i had so i wouldnt have to get another amp because im broke right now. i just thought maybe it would even be a better idea to only run one amp, rather than buying a whole nother amp and running two amps? what do you dudes think.

Sound Digital makes sum absolutely incredible amps. They make massive amounts of power from such a small footprint thats it baffling a lot of people in the car audio field how they're doing it. They also can drop down as far as 7.5 volts without any serious issues, that in itself it crazy.

They are quite pricey though, but then again if u want the best u gotta pay for it.

But look into something like:

AB 500.1

Sound Digital 5000.1

Atomic 5000.1

Cactus Sounds 5kw

Lanzar Opti6000d

RD 5750.1 + HW9.0

Hifonics Goliath + Sampson(will do 5k @ 4ohm and 8k+ @ 1ohm)

JBL A6000Gti

DD Z1

Stetsom 4k2d

SS XXX6500D + XXX10KD

Audiobahn A5000SPL

Cadence ZRS-9000D

These are just the ones i could come up with off the top of my head... Sure there's prolli a few more in the 5k-7k watts range.

oh cool thanks cobra. ya cause i only need to give each something like 2000-2500 rms per sub. il look into one of those amps. i think one of the big reasons that i was thinking about running a one amp setup was because i just dont have that other 750 bucks to throw down on another saz right now? plus i thought it would maybe be less complicated oas far as wiring and batterys n stuff. i think what i say sounds reasonable lol. i have a few friends that are pomo indian, and they get somehting like 20,000-30,000 grand a few times a year. i wish i was pomo. i could have all the shit i wanted lol.

It definitely make sense bro, also usually a single large amp will pull let amps than two smaller amps of the same wattage. This is all if both the small and large amps are similarly efficient.

Like i'm taking a guess that a SAZ-3000D pulls less amps @ 1ohm than 2 SAZ-1500Ds would if they were both at 1ohm.

Yea you're also right, it does make things with the wiring a little less complicated and easier to trouble shoot if problems should arise.

what would some experienced amp dudes say about the few amps that cobra named off. im just looking for a tough amp. dont care about price a bit. just looking for the best amp i can get. but then again i bought two dual 2 ohm subs. so i guess two amps might need to be the situation critical. btw i need about 2k-2500 rms for each sub. im not know in alot about the cactus, or a couple up there. but i have a saz3000d right now, if theres any up there that you think would do better for me as a one amp setup,(that meaning me get rid of my saz3000dx2 plans and getting but one amp) let me know kiddos
