maylar 10+ year member Electrical Weenie 3,647 79 Connecticut Dec 2, 2003 #2 Use 3M General Purpose spray adhesive (not the heavy duty stuff). It won't come unraveled, trust me. I cut the holes with a router and trim the carpet with a sharp knife. Jigsaw is my second choice.
