quick big 3 question!!!

anywhere on the chassis. fender, frame, bumper, lugnut.... just sand it to metal before.
read the sticky
make sure its on the chassis, not on a component of the chassis because those are usually bolted on...

your battery is already grounded to the frame, find that, and add your larger wire to that spot, make sure it is BARE SHINY metal before bolting down the lug.

does not work on some cars, as my battery was grounded via the battery box...way too insignificant of metal to work for big 3

Toyota seems to love their grounds. My Corolla had a alt (directly on the alt body) to chassis, block to chassis, block to battery and battery to chassis. I replaced all with 0g. So mine was more like a big 5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not to thread jack but i was told its ok to run the battery negative to engine block, battery negative to chassis, and batt positive to alt positive is this ok??

You also need to do the block to chassis

THen you're better off doing block to chassis than block to bat. Gives your alt and ground spot in the back a less resistant (shorter) ground. EVen the big three thread here suggests block to chassis not bat to chassis

What year corolla do you have? i got a 2001. I found the alt to chassis, neg bat to engine then another wire from the engine to chassis. i just need to find the bat pos to alt pos. If possible pics of your engine bay.

Mine's an '07. The pos wire runs up to the engine head and back around to the bat along the firewall. I just ran a 0 guage on the shortest path infront of the radiator fan.
