quick amp question

I have my dash speakers running to a 200 watt rockford amp and i need to know if i should run my amp on high pass filter or full range. Which do you prefer, or which is the best way to get the best sound. Thanks for any suggestions on how to do this.

depends on whether you are running a crossover or not

yea, i have a built in crossover in my head unit. I have my speaker amp set on high pass filter right now but i don't know if i should put it at full range for more frequencies or just leave it at high pass.

What sounds better? It's really up to your preference. Try HP on the amp with 80hz, and 80hz on HU.

Then try full range, see what sounds better.
