quick amp question

i just usually looked at 2 channel amps to run 2 subs, but i take it you'd just divide the rms by 2 correct? since 2 subs would be running off that one channel.
correct. don't know if it would be exactly by two. like 700 on two subs might not be a full 350 each but i could be wrong. it would be close though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

now is there a fancy way of wiring the two subs together? or do you just twist the sires together to get a final positive and negative. i just dont wanna blow anything up lol.
