My old man has a '99 C5 that he wants to put an aftermarket stereo into. He wants XM and the ability to play MP3's.
Crutchfield pops up their little "call us b/c of a non standard install" stuff.. I've gotten conflicting info from Best Buy and some "real" install shops.
How much work has to be done to go with an aftermarket head unit on one of these things. BB said you cant use the speakers, another shop said they're fine. The deck looks almost identical to the one I had in my 2000 Silverado back when I had it, and I was able to fit a new radio in easily.
