quick ? about wiring.....

well, I want my amp to see a 1 ohm load, and my subs are both dual 4 ohm vc. So, I wired those both in parallel, and I bought a terminal bolck( strip of metal with screws on it) and I connected both of the positives to one pair of screws, and both of the negatives to another pair of screws. I then ran one more wire from both the + and - to the amps + and - . Sound good?

Yes, if I am understanding your description correctly.

You should have each sub wired in parallel and then have the resulting + from each sub connected to one post, that post should then be connected to the + on the amp.

Do the same for the -'s.

I believe this is what you described.

Yeah man you did it right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif More thought out and non-ghetto way then I did it though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Awesome dude, glad you like em:D

This Rockford makes this thing pound.....still can't get to even near full excursion though:rolleyes:

yesterday I was at a party and when they heard it they were like, **** what do you have, 2 12's? "Nah, just a single 12..." They were like, no friggin way, it's louder then my friends 2 15's:eyebrow:

And this is with some SERIOUS voltage dipping/dimming(seems like 10v), which I'm fixing today/tomarrow with 1/0 guage, along with dynamat.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif god knows how good it'll sound when I stable the voltage above 12-13v

U gotta come to the next FL meet so we can hear eachother:cool:

yea, definately. yea, I hear that those XXX's are indestructable lol. And hopefully I should have all of my comps tuned and imaged correctly by then, and have attempted to stop the rear deck rattle lol.
