Will a Sundown sa-8 v.2 in a proper ported box with around 600 watts get as loud as 2 10" JL w3's in the "HO" box with only 300 watts?

No one will really be able to say. We can all guess, but that is it. I can tell you those HO enclosures are horrible.

Ok, the reason I ask is my cousin just bought the w3's in that box. He's convinced JL is the best because thats mostly what they sell at the local shop and they see him coming a mile away. Anyway, long story short I want to show him JL is over priced and over rated for the price. I thought it would be cool to show him a 8 inch sub is hitting just as hard if not harder. Thanks for the replies. Also, I just heard that "HO" box and really wasn't all that impressed. Looks cool but sounds subpar.
