Trading locally on CL my hdc3 18" for 2 minty 12" orion H2's.

I'm actually kinda looking for resale. I think I could price these out and get rid of them for more $$ than the AQ.

True. Lol. But I have a hard time believing if I did choose to run these H2's that it would be a "downgrade". Output wise atleast.

Just figure 2 12's on 5k would be louder than 1 18 on 2k.

That would probably be true, you never said your power would more than double. The 12s arent going to last long with that much real power to them though.

My bad I shoulda specified. But I'm sure the H2's would take rated, 2.5 each, just fine daily.

id stick with the 18, did a switch thinking 2 12s on more power would be louder. was dissapointed in the result.

It's not that I really want to. I just wanted opinions on weather I should take the offer or not. I know the AQ is a better woofer and overall better company than Orion, but I was just arguing my opinion that the 12's would be louder. But I am calling off the trade for now. Thanks for everyone's input!

why not just run 3k to the hdc3 18????
