What would be the best AMP to buy for 2 12" Alpine Type X's?

I only have about $500.00 to spend.

He has $500. Those would be about $625 and would cost more to wire up (Bigger wire, distro blocks, etc.).

To the OP, are you upgrading your electrical system as well? If you want to run 2kW daily, a new alternator is a must.
