Question wiring in 2 10" subs.. one SVC one DVC

AB amp/ More info? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
not many good amps left any more...but some of the old Orions...US Amps...Soundstreams....Kickers...PG......ZED.....PPI..... Autotek....ect....mostly the old US made stereo amps...but it would have to be an amp that is one ohm stable and doubles in power as resistance drops....a 2 ohm stable amp will over heat running it like that....That is why I said 1 ohm stable stereo amps.....very clean sound...and never let the wattage specs fool you.....

can you help me pick one out? Not to sure on what to look for exactly.

either way will work,,,,,Hey CRX i never ran mixed mono how would he go about doing that?
I have several amps that can do it...My Kicker XS50...my very rare US 100HC's built on a 2000x boards...(subs wouldn't handle them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) my ZED made Planet Audio Tube amps...my G4 Orion 225 HCCA

You just wire in one sub mono...the SVC then the DVC out either side stereo.....at 2 ohms...you could add a 3rd DVC for the other side as well...all 3 subs will get the same power.....with mono one being a SVC

overall its much easier having the same VC's on the subs....lol
thats what im thinking... i think i may even make out by choping my box in half and resealing it and putting one sub in each car LOL... not looking for anything crazy.. one for the Camaro and one for the hyundai daily driver? hmm. lol.

You could maybe do that ...since its a sealed box...you could do each sub ported/......the box would be about the same size as it is now...for each sub and actually get about the same output as the pair sealed...best of both worlds...then get an amp that will work with each sub....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ack, not sure i want to go that route lol. the box is already huge sitting in the back of my camaro... i wouldnt mind a smaller box thats for sure. I have a ported box as , maybe i can split that in half and use that one instead.

sorry site lag //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
do you think I would have better luck splitting the ported or sealed box and running it with a single sub in each? I'm trying to work with what I have.. and if all i need to do is get a piece of mdf and seal the boxes up again, i'm all for it
