question sundown and l7's

i have a pair of 12 l7s dual 4 ohm, and a sundown 1500d amp. heres the question i went to a shop to get them put in, they wired at 4 ohms they tell me each sub will be seeing 1500 watts from the amp is that true or does it split the power?

You need to wire it to 1ohm and each sub will see 750rms. Whoever told you that is a moron.

thats what i said he was like no it would blow the speakers. yeah they sound fairly good tho considering they only have 200 watts each.
