SWINE FLU!!!!
the other day i was driving with my stereo turned up to about 35, which is about as high as i ever take it, and about 20 minutes into driving, my speakers all got really low, but my sub stayed just as loud as it was.

there's no distortion coming from my speakers, like raspiness or anything, i just have to turn my sub down to -4, and then my volume up to around 30 to even be able to barely hear my front speakers.

does this sound like a fried amp?

Well, hook the speakers just up to the headunit and if they are normal then hook a speaker you know is in good working order up to the amp real quick with just a short run of speaker wire near the amp and see if it plays normally..

And i kind of assumed you meant a mids/highs amp being blown...?...or are you talking about the sub amp?
