Hi all.......

i hear fuses create a certain level of resistance on cable runs & its made me think about my sub wiring..??

my sub box has standard + / - terminals on it, im wondering seeing as im running 8ga to my sub would it be better to bypass these terminals completly & just drill a small hole in the box & run the 8ga straight to the amp...??

or is the resistance from these termials gonna be too small to notice a difference.??

cheers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Don't waste your time bypassing the terminal and sealing the resultant hole in your box. It's not going to be worth the effort. For the typical short runs of speaker wire from the amp to a sub box 8 ga wire is overkill. The terminal may be sapping a few watts but it's nothing to sweat over.

i thought 8ga was a little overkill, but im ripping out my old 8ga run to put in the 0ga ive got... so i'll just use that for the sub leads..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
