Question regarding bridging a 4 chan amp

Amp is a 4 channel that is currently only using the front channels, therefore only 1 set of RCA's (Front) are hooked up from my Hu.

I want to bridge this amp after my components have had some play time. When I bridge it will just the one (1) set of RCA's suffice? And I'm guessing the 2/4 channel selector switch will go to 2 channel mode (like it currently is.)

Give me some answers, don't know why I can't figure this one out.

All I am powering is a set of front door components.

yep select 2ch mode and most amps will have a legend on the side or bottom on how to properly bridge the amp. what kind of amp is it?
Prime 300/4. Guess I'm really unfamiliar with anything besides mono amps or just 2 channels.

Yeah, nothing to it. I found an old thread in here as well regarding same question. Just bridge the front, bridge the rear, switch goes to 2 chan mode and only 1 set of rca's needed (the front) done.

just switching to 2ch mode and bridging the amp is not going to work. You will need to use y splitters and connect them a little differently. You will need to connect font input to the left y splitter and rear input to the right y splitter. This way when you bridge the amp you get the power you want with the signal you want. just bridging the amp will sum the output so if you have it in 2 ch mode bridged you will not get a left and right signal.
