question on speaker

I would buy the best speakers I could, and run them off the deck until I got an amp.No sense buying cheap crap youre just going to replace.
X2 because even if you buy the high end speakers they wont sound any better if you run them off the HU save some more money and buy an AMP..then you will be happy with the sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

A speaker with a higher sensitivity rating will play louder with less power. If you are set on running the speakers off the head unit and you like to play it loud, this is one of the things you'll want to consider when making your decision.

Sound quality can be more dependent on the quality of the speaker design and the installation than on the power handling of the speaker. The advantage to adding a more powerful amplifier is the ability to drive a wider range of speakers and avoid overdriving the amp to get the sound and volume you're looking for.

Speaker power ratings are maximum, not minimum. In other words, while a 100-watt rated speaker can handle more power than a 50-watt speaker, it doesn't necessarily NEED more power to reach the same volume.
