question on RF subs and box

I have the opportunity to buy 2 Rockford Fosgate 12 inch Hx2 Punch subs in a sealed box for $400. All the wiring is done in the box. Is this a good deal? The subs have been used for a while, in excellent condition.

No.

You can get those woofers for 268 shipped brand new on ebay. That means you're paying $132 for some wires and a SEALED box. Unless the box is covered with some kind of Louie Vuitton fabric, then that is not a good deal in my opinion.

well if you take into account that I dont have time to build a box right now, and that he did a good job on it, it works out about to the same price... or am i missing something?

I'm not sure how much engineering he put into making the sealed box, but I wouldn't pay more than $30-40 for it. However, we all have to make choices on what we do so if you think it's good then by all means go for it. I just figure with the extra $132, i could probably buy a Gamecube, box, and the necessary wires.
