does anybody know whether the RCA inputs are differential inputs or not? i guess that can matter when buying rca wires.
i have the S4 and C2a. i am having noise issues. The S4a has the same RCA inputs as any other amp I have ever hooked up. It has four inputs: RF,LF, RR, LR. Any quality RCA cable will work.
If you are trying to get one, LMK.
PM you which link?I will look at it tomorrow. Just PM me the link. I am going home now.
But to answer your question, there is nothing different/special/etc about the RCA inputs on those amps.
i guess he is saying if the shielding actually touches the barrel(connectors) on the rca's then the noise will be brought right into the amp if the inputs are differential. i'm not really sure what differential means or anything. the guy telling me to find out is a pretty smart dude over there on diyma.I am not sure what you mean by shielding barrel to barrel?
I have some medium grade streetwires and no problems.
