Ok, so the time is drawing near for the big audio install, and I have some really basic questions about powering my LCD and dvd player.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I should tap the power sources from? I know how to hook up all of the RCAs, however, if some whom has had experience with an install of nature could step in, it'd be greatly appreciated!

As the title states, I am using a microvision screen and farenheit dvd player. I am tapping into the aux line of my 9833 for audio control.

For the DVD player you could tap into the HU's existing power supply and upgrade to a slightly larger fuse (extra 5amps)

As for the screen, the overhead dome light power lead is constant and the switch for the light is connected to the ground (in most cars) so if you tap into the power lead and find a seperate ground it should work (I think), this is only if you were planning an overhead mount.

Another option is to run a fused line from your battery or distribution block to a relay that ties into your HU's remote on lead, the relay will power up when the head unit is turned on send power to the external DVD and LCD screen.

Relays are your best friend for situations like this and are really simple to use.
