Question on polyfill

This stuff is supposed to act like it gives you a little more space right? Do you jam it into a box and stuff it completely? What is the rule of thumb on this?

Where is the best place to get it?

From what I understand, use 1lb or a little more per cu ft. I use fill that is formed together in like a sheet instead of the loose fill. I use spray adhesive to adhere it to the internal walls. I get mine from the crafts department at walmart.

Stand on a scale, record ur weight.

Get pillow, stand on scale, mark new weight.

Subtract measure 2 from measure 1, n u will have the weight.

So they say, but i had NO regards for what they said when i did it.

I almost filled the bo with polyfill, sound much louder.

It was a lot so din't need to glue ot down or anything else.

So..... not sure

Well, it's probably better to know what you're doing instead of just stuffing it in there. Also, I thought 1 pound for a cubic foot of volume was a weird suggestion, because Polyfill is extremely light.
