My son has 2 Audiobahn subs.

One is an AWIS15P 15" the specs are

Everyday Bass Performer Box

Sub disp. 0.7

Total vol. 3.5 Cu. Ft.

Tune Freg. 37 HZ.

RMS 2250

Ultimate SPL Bass Box

Sub disp. 0.7

Total vol. 4.5 Cu. Ft.

Tune Freq. 35 HZ.

The other sub is an Audiobahn AWIS12P 12" the specs are

Everyday Bass Performer Box

Sub diep. 0.4

Total vol. 3 Cu. Ft.

Tune Freq. 40 HZ.

RMS 2000

Ultimate SPL Bass Box

Sub disp. 0.4

Total vol. 4 Cu. Ft.

Tune Freq. 38 Hz.

So My question is this he said he wants to put them in the same box, and wire them to 0ne ohm. But with the total vol. differences between the two subs, and the freq. differences how can this be accomplished. Also which type box do think should be used the Everyday box or the Ultimate Bass Box. He is 17, and he likes Rap music with hard, deep hitting bass. Can this be done with a slot vented enclosure.

If anyone has a cut sheet for this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Guys

He wants one firing up, and one firing to the rear.

The amp is a Hifonics BX1605D.

Also the box is going in an Oldsmobile Alero.

spl box's should be smaller than dd box's

Get him an 15" MX if you want RE, don't worry, he'll be happy:D

Or go cheaper do 2 12" Fi Q's, or a DD 3515. That'll make some noise:D

seriously **** the audiobahns, different sizes...even worse:crap:

I thought that was crazy too. I think I will try to talk him into getting a RE 15" XXX.
Thanks Guys

That would be an excellent choice. If you cant swing a new sub, just put the 15 bahn in a properly designed box and he should still be happy. But your best bet is to sell the 2 Audiobahns and pick up a new 15.

Yeah I'm in a circle right now too. I'm going to use 3/4" birch so I don't want to build it twice, stuff ain't cheap.

Common chambered sealed or ported is fine. Just make sure you have sufficient bracing

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.
