Ok, Im transfering my system to a buddies car and we are at the wiring stage. Everything is done, except the adjustable LOC. We're going to be tapping in to his stock sub (2000 Explorer), so only one set of wires will be used on the LOC. What I'm confused about it what the gains(?) on the LOC should be set at? I know that the gains on the amp are determined by the volts coming from the RCA's, so should I turn the LOC all the way up to increase the volts from the RCA's, or does it really matter where I set them at?

On the packaging it says its adjustable from 2-60 watts.

BTW- He's coming to finish this install up at 4:00, so I need the answer quick!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

what would cause me to need to lower them when I set his amp gain? Having too high of a voltage going to the speakers even when the amp gain is all the way down?
