Question for those of you who did the Big 3 on a Chrysler/Dodge Car

The battery in my car is located in the fender well. I was wondering how to get the wire from the alternator + to the battery +. It looks like I may have to put the car on a ramp and work from underneath. Any advice?

get to it through the wheel well, you say theres a barrier? Drill a hole, or find where the factory wires go through and follow that route.

There HAS to be an access panel. Open it.

on those cars there is a jump start terminal up top. follow that wire and if need be enlarge the existing hole.

I actually have a question about that jump start terminal. Right now I have my amps 4 gauge power wire connected there. Is there anything wrong with doing that?

nothing at all. it's a good jump off point. but i would recommend the big 3 to gain some extra power.

Take the wheel off, along with the plastic lining in the wheel well. its a PITA

if you are gunna have to pull the fender well and wheel to get to the bat just to do the big three.. i would buy a new batt and replace the stock batt, and do the big three while ur at it.... just my 2 cent's....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yes they are a pita. makes me believe the only reason they did that is to get you to take it to a dealer and get ***** on labor.
