Which is good for you. I dont hate on people that believe. As a matter of fact, I am pretty much on the fence.

yes it is good, If I am wrong about God, and I am to reincarnate into a frog or bird, what have I done with this life other than try to be a good steward, be kind and passionate to others while leaving a positive legacy when I am gone, opposed to what I may have become and done without God. I would rather fail to side of caution

Religion is just a technique of controlling large masses of people without direct supervision. Probably the most effective use of rhetoric to date.

You speak so generally, I am a christian and I don't have any problems with T-rex or the fact that the earth is older than 6000 years

But this goes back to the original purpose of this thread. You can live well and follow 'the rules of the lord' or morals so to speak without acknowledging there is a God.

The Catholic church has done some horrible things, but Christianty was flourishing far before the existence of Catholicism.
