Question, fiq and aq 1200d

my choices for my new system but i need some help. would it be better to get dual 1 or dual 2 ohm coils? 2 because i know you can wire it to 1 ohm in parallel but could i wire the dual 1 each to their own channel? my first choice was a dd 3510 but my local shop doesn't carry them in stock becasue they have many more configurations than the q does and i would rather.. eh nevermind. the q has better sound quality or so i have gathered and a 10" dd is $259 plus shipping at the shop and the q is just $259 because they are in stock. they price re and fi the same so i could go with a re of some sort but i, personally, am a fan of the larger dustcaps. aesthetics aren't everything but when i open my trunk i'd rather have one of them babies looking up at me. my se-x 10s have served me well but i want fi this round. $510 before shipping sounds like music to my ears for my new system.. literally. if anyone has any suggestions on amps feel free to share but i have set my mind (i think) on the sub. thanks in advance!

i thought the aq was monoblock but on the aq site they have an amp with four terminals

It is a monoblock, it just has multiple terminals. You can hook up to any of them as long as you use - and +.

And get d2 so you can run at 1 ohm.

There are a lot of amps that do this.. JL, Mempthis etc. Makes it easier to run dual subs.

thanks 7ender it;s just weird to have a monoblock amp with four terminals.. and yes one-eight i know there are many more amps, i was looking at the mc1.1100 and the sundown 1500. i was just looking though, out of my range as it sits right now. if i find a 1500 for ~ the price of the aq in a few weeks when i'm ready to buy you'd better believe i will scoop that up!

Fi,AQ,DD,Sundown are all good brands. whatever you can pick up for cheaper.

my friends wife has a 15" Q off a sundown 1500 and it sounds very good.

check out the sdc's also.

about the box.. i want to do use some ports, the tubular ones because i have a hard time with my math (failed every highschool course :/) and it seems much easier to build a rectangle with a 2" cutout for http://www.parts-express.com//pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=268-350 . if anyone would be able to maybe hand me a design i wouldn't say no.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i want it tuned right at 32hz, what do those prefab ports get you to? and what is that turbo out of, skateboardkid, a freaking submarine?
