hey quick question about the wiring, is there a difference between ground wire and power wire besides the rubber surround?? because isnt it all just copper wire??

my point: say i bought a 10' run of 0 g power wire, could i do all my grounding with it as well?

ya funny thing about that, i had some left over wire that said ground wire on it and i gave to my friend to use from a distro to his amp. he calls me up telling me i fked up his amp by giving him a ground wire for power wire. lol. it ends up he did not disconnect his battery and tried to connect a live wire to his amp hit something and blew his fuse.

think i might run into my local car audio shop tomarrow, see what they have. prob. wont get anything less than 1/0g. i have a feeling their prices will be quite high...

will probably but a run from someone on here

i went to a local place they wanted 6 dollars a foot for 1/0.

ya no joke. and this place had some no name brand where the insulation made it look thicker.
Haha yeah gotta love places that try to sell 2 and 4 gauge with thick insulation as 0 gauge. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
