Question about Welding cable

I was wondering if there was a "better" brand like there is with conventional wire. Meaning everybody here pretty much swears by Kicker and Knu, but is there a better brand of welding cable? I can get some locally, but I have never used it.

i personally use Flex-a-prene 1/0. idk about that one. looks like a lot of insulation to me, could be the pic though. i'd want a comparison pic.

I got mine from Mcmaster carr and it s the neoprene jacket. works fine and with welding cable that says it copper you will get copper and it will be the right size. I like copper because it will have less resistance and be a little smaller while able to carry its rated load and not heat up like AL. Under high loads AL can heat up expand and contract coming loose in fittings and possible break. That happens in industrial applications that's why now lots of codes frown on AL wire

that store is great they never care when I brought in the wrong type of gas bottle for trade in and they argon prices are always good.

I might check out a few places that I didn't even know were in my area this weekend. I really need to see the strand count and flexibility of the 2/0. Most of the pictures I have seen were just generic or out of focus. I saw that 2 people suggested the flex a prene. I looked it up on ebay and it's just a roll of it that doesn't tell much about it. I got some knu 1/0 that I planned on using for my big 3 and the sub amp that I have not chosen as of yet.
