question about truck box design idea

if your port is going to be that large you may get some unwanted unloading thats all

even the flare on inside of aeros is enuff to disturb air flow enuff to maintian pressure

My non-expert suggestion would be to make the intended port a part of the box if you need it for the volume sake and have a slot port that fired to the passenger side.

Is the box already built? If not an alteration of plans is another decision that can be made, right?

not a bad idea, but im pushing the limits of the box from passanger to drivers side, i couldn't do a port firing sideways, and if i did i would have to pull the box back so far to make room that i would lose everything i gained, but i liked the idea.... i could fire it up though

You could port to the passenger side, slot port or whatever and use the current port space under the center seat as part of the box. That wAy the only change to the design would be the actual port opening, no changes at all to shape or dimensions.

hey if you can keep me updated on the box making and the installment i would be glad i have a s10 going to do a cut through soon amd i just enjoy seeing other people fix up there trucks, and you can always have the ports facing upward if the port doesnt fit down the center but it should fit i dont see any reasons why
