Question about THIS Autopage...

C3 RS-915LCD - 2-Way Communications - AutoPage

Looking at this alarm, it looks like it has two control units? One that has just lock/unlock, and the other has a trunk release as well? Why would that be? Obviously I'm going to want to carry the LCD screen one with me, but if I do does that mean I can't pop my trunk remotely?
