?? QUESTION ?? (about stock set up)

I've got an 04 Mazda 6 (non Bose).

It's a six speaker set up. 4 door speakers and 2 tweets in the A pillars.

My question is about the front set up. I know the door speakers in the back get two wires (neg/pos), the front doors, and tweets, I assume, are the same.

Would the manufacturer put in some sort of crossover?

I would like to do a aftermarket HU, but I want to keep those tweets if they are going to be there.

How the heck would I do this once I tear the old stock HU out?

I think you will know when you pull out your factory head unit and look at the wires. If there are only 4 sets of speaker wires, that means the crossover is somewhere in the line. If there are 6, it means the crossover was in the factory head unit. I seriously doubt the latter.

OK So.

Let's fast forward into the future. I bought a set of components for the front( going into door), but I want to use that tweeter, since it is there and all.

How do I do that?

Am I just going to have to figure this out when I open it up?
